Resetting Your Password

Once logged in, you can change your password at any time from your account settings. Please note that if your account is managed by a single sign-on service, this section is not applicable.

Change your password by navigating to your settings, and clicking on Account.

Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

What is single sign-on (SSO)?

Single sign-on enables your advisors, administrators, and support staff to access multiple applications with one login. An account with SSO enabled means you only have to set up one account and they'll automatically have login credentials for Gainfully.

How does SSO work?
Each of your users can log in to Gainfully using their SSO provider. They’ll no longer have to manage and remember multiple usernames and passwords! We support SSO using Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication and only require a user’s first name, last name, and email address.

Once an Organization enables SSO, their users will no longer be able to login to Gainfully using an email and password.

How to login using SSO

  • Navigate to your identity provider (ex: Okta)
  • Select the SSO login button
  • Once you select the SSO button, you will be prompted for your username and password
  • Once authenticated, you'll be logged into Gainfully

How do I enable SSO for my organization?

Setting up SSO requires some technical work, so we may need to work with your internal IT teams to provide the necessary information for SAML configuration. Contact our Customer Success Team ([email protected]) to set up a meeting between technical departments.
