Contact Activity

Contact activity tracking provides valuable insights into how your audience engages with your email campaigns. This data helps you understand which contacts are most engaged and optimize your communication strategy.

To view individual contact activity:

  1. Navigate to https://new.gainful.ly/advisor/contacts/
  2. Locate the contact whose activity you want to review
  3. Click "View Activity" on the contact record

This opens a detailed activity page showing the complete communication history with that contact.

The activity page provides a comprehensive overview of engagement metrics and historical data.

Key Engagement Metrics

At the top of the activity page, you'll find essential engagement statistics:

Number of Emails Received: Total count of all email campaigns sent to this contact. This helps you understand the volume of communication.

Number of Email Opens: How many times this contact has opened your emails. Multiple opens of the same email count separately, showing continued interest.

Total Clicks: The cumulative number of times this contact has clicked on any content within your emails. This indicates strong engagement and interest in your content.

Email History Table

Below the summary metrics, you'll find a detailed table showing the complete email history with this contact.

  • Subject Line: The subject of each email campaign sent
  • Date Sent: When the email was delivered to the contact
  • Date Opened: If and when the contact opened the email
  • Clicked: Whether the contact clicked on any links or content in the email
  • View Option: Click "View" to see exactly what the email looked like when sent to this contact
